  • Having a doula postpartum, especially as a first time mom, can help bridge the gap of community, if you're still building your village.

  • Support from a doula during the postpartum period decreases the risk for postpartum depression and anxiety.

  • I believe in protecting the mother-baby relationship by encouraging skin-on-skin, unlimited bonding, and supporting the breastfeeding relationship.

  • Discussing postpartum expectations and planning ahead of time helps create a happier mom and therefore, mother-baby relationship.

  • I believe in the importance of partner involvement. We're all in this together.
